The waterfront landscape creation that featured the Canadian flag in flowers is no more.

The flowers are long gone anyway in the raised garden at Victoria Street and Lakeshore.

But city crews were dismantling the mound Thursday morning and moving the dirt to a nearby location at the waterfront for use on another project.

Workers on site told BarrieToday.com that the garden was only temporary for Canada 150 celebrations.

The garden turned out to be an attraction for photos and selfies during the summer.
