Today, Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Transportation, announced that fees for residents in Barrie who need to replace their important documents like driver’s licences, licence plates and birth certificates have been waived in order to assist those that have been affected by the devastating tornado that struck [on July 15].

“The residents of Barrie have been overwhelmed by the tornado that ripped through last week,” said MPP Andrea Khanjin.

“Through the devastation, it has been amazing to see the community come together and help their neighbours. But the people affected by this tornado, some losing their homes and becoming displaced, need help and this is a great way to ease the burden on them.”
