St. Peter's Catholic Secondary School dominated the last two days at the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) swimming championships, with several of the Barrie school's student-athletes leaving with medals and even a new provincial record.
Matthew Keenan started Day 1 with a gold in the junior boys 50-metre freestyle with a sizzling time of 25.63.
On Day 2, the junior boys 4x50 freestyle relay team won gold, out-touching the always-dominate Upper Canada College team.
Jesse Montes shattered a four-year-old OFSAA record in the junior boys 100-metre individual medley (IM) with a blistering time of 1:02.56.
The senior boys 4x50 freestyle relay team, comprised of Jesse Montes, Julian Gonzales, Grant Shivers, Matthew Keenan, placed fourth.
