Mini Pop Kids set to hit Georgian Theatre stage in November

Described as a concert for both kids and parents, concert-goers can expect an 'experience for the whole family'

The popular Mini Pop Kids will be popping into Barrie next month.

With more than two billion digital streams across multiple platforms, Canada’s original, best-selling kids’ music group is back on the road after a temporary touring hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions for their Bright Lights Relit tour, and will be taking the stage for two shows at Georgian Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Described as a concert for both kids and parents, concert-goers can expect an “experience for the whole family” jam-packed with the year’s biggest hits alongside everyone’s throwback favourites — all in the  Mini Pop Kids’ beloved style of family-friendly covers of songs by chart toppers including Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa, BTS, Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo.

A kid-friendly cover of Lizzo’s About Damn Time — the ’70s-inspired disco-funk earworm gets the video treatment with highlights from the tour to date and showcasing a montage of the group’s high-energy performances and fun-filled interactions with fans.

Mini Pop Kids have been entertaining audiences around the world for decades with their family-friendly spins on the world’s most popular songs; and have been Canada’s number one children’s music group - with over a million albums sold and topping the iTunes and Billboard charts — for nearly two decades. First launched in the 1980’s the original Mini Pops featured talented children singing pop hits of the day, and went on to sell millions of albums worldwide. Now that the original MINI POP fans have grown up and have children of their own, K-Tel re-launched the Mini Pop Kids in 2004 in Canada.
