Tracey Baker, owner of ZuZu Fashion Boutique, and manager/stylist Mary Catherine Love are the recipients of BarrieToday's mid-week mugging.
The fashionistas modelled their mugs in the Dunlop Street East shop that is decked out in holiday style with beautiful decorations, Christmas trees and fashions for the season.
Baker loves to dress up her store.
"it's a really fun time when we decorate for Christmas because our customers really respond. They love it," said Baker. "We play Christmas carols and we have lots of beautiful decorations. We always get compliments on our window and moreso at Christmas time."
It's party season and women are looking for that special piece they can wear to their office or family party but they're also looking for something that they can wear more than once.
"So it needs to be practical," Baker explains. "It needs to be something that is unique that they can dress up but then they can dress it down. Jewelry is a great way to do that and it makes for a great gift."
Baker says they've been helping a lot of mothers find the perfect dress for Christmas weddings and both genders come in to buy gifts for the ladies in their life.
Gold is making a comeback as the metal of choice for jewelry, according to Baker but there's no one colour that's popular.
"Anything goes. It's really more about what you're comfortable with, what looks good on you and sometimes you need a second opinion on that," she said.
Baker says gift certificates are a great option for those hard-to-buy-for special people.
