A young man charged with murdering a father and son was remanded in custody to next week during his second court appearance - this time via video.

Court heard that Dyrrin Daley, 24, has not yet retained a lawyer because legal aid has been unable to complete an interview with him.

It's hoped he will get legal counsel prior to his next court appearance Feb. 23, which will also be via video.

"Have a good day," Daley politely said to the court as he was led away by a guard.

Daley faces two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 51-year-old Jamie Pasowisty and his 19-year-old son Nickolas.

Their bodies were found early Feb. 8 in their second floor apartment at a home on William St.

Autopsies showed both men died of multiple stab wounds.

Daley was arrested at a home on Marcus St. within hours of police being called to the scene of the murders.

Funeral arrangements for the murder victims have been finalized.

Visitation for both men is Monday, Feb. 20 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home on Worsley St.

Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
