Man arrested after turning up at Tim Hortons with bleeding head wound

INNISFIL - On Tuesday, July 19, 2016, just after 11 p.m., South Simcoe Police attended the Tim Hortons in Alcona, after a man walked in, bleeding from a head wound.

The man left the restaurant but was located nearby where he was treated by paramedics and spoken to by officers.

The man refused to divulge how he had received the injury, and also refused further treatment by the paramedics.

Officers discovered that the 54-year-old man was wanted on an arrest warrant pending from an incident in February.

He was arrested and taken to the station, where he was charged with break and enter, wear disguise, assault and threatening.

He was released and ordered to stay away from the victim. He will appear in court in September.
