On April 28, 2016 the Midland Police Service was conducting surveillance on an address in the Town of Victoria Harbour, Ontario for a male that was currently on a recognizance of bail with house arrest conditions for controlled drugs and substances act charges.

The male was observed breaching his recognizance of bail and was subsequently arrested on the West Side of the Town of Midland, Ontario.

Upon arrest of the male, a cell phone, a quantity of marijuana and Percocets (Oxycodone) were located in his possession, which was also a breach of the male’s recognizance.

The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $460.

The male was transported back to the Midland Police Service and was held for a bail hearing scheduled for April 29, 2016 in Barrie.

Charged: Thomas Landry (26 years of age) from Victoria Harbour, Ontario

Charges:

1) Fail to Comply with Recognizance - sec. 145(3) CC x4

2) Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Other Drugs – sec. 4(1) CDSA

3) Possession of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana over 30 grams – sec. 4(1) CDSA
