The Barrie Historical Archives opened its digital doors last night in a celebration at city hall that reunited all the living Barrie Mayors.
Mayor Jeff Lehman was joined by five former Mayors since incorporation in 1959 for an interview panel called the Mayors’ Seat.
Each Mayor and a family representative of Mayors who have passed gave a five minute talk to a sold-out crowd inside the council chambers.
A massive cake was served to the public at a free, after-launch reception held in the rotunda.
