Congratulations to Helen Bruce from Innisfil who won $100,000 in the Oct. 13, 2017, 2017 Wheel of Fortune Lotto draw.

“It was Friday the 13th when I purchased the ticket and it was the best $2 that I’ve ever spent!” shared Helen while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim her winnings.

Helen and her husband headed home after validating her ticket and noticed their neighbours outside. “We pulled into their driveway with big smiles on our faces and they immediately said, ‘You must have won the lottery!’”

First on Helen’s list is to attend a very special occasion. “We are going to Australia to surprise my husband’s aunt for her 80th birthday! This win is going towards many travel adventures.”

“This win feels so surreal and will allow us to do many things we were not able to do before,” Helen concluded.

Wheel of Fortune Lotto is a lottery game that offers both instant in-store wins – of up to $10,000 – and nightly prize draws of up to $100,000 with each $2 ticket.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hi Mart on 25th Sideroad in Innisfil.
