When local mother Cassidy Hilliard heard the news about Bradford teen Daleyn MacIsaac and her battle with ANCA Vasculitis, she was 'heartwrenched.' Her daughter and Daleyn were classmates throughout elementary school.

MacIsaac was diagnosed in late summer with the autoimmunte disease attacking her kidney and lungs. She will require a kidney transplant once her condition is stabalized.

She is currently receiving dialysis treatments five times a week at Sick Kids Hospital, which is putting financial and emotional stress on her and her family.

To help assist the family during this difficult time, Hilliard and a few other local mothers, Rosi Martin and Genna Coluuci, have decided to host a 'Bowling For Daleyn' fundraiser, with all proceeds going toward the MacIsaac family.

The event will take place on Saturday Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Bradford Underground Bowl. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Tickets for the family-friendly event are $30 and include three games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and popcorn. Unicorn and My Little Pony mascots will also be joining the party, courtesy of Daleyn's mother Minvera MacIsaac and her children's entertainment business, Minerva's Creations. The event will also feature air brush tattoos, a bubble show, and balloon twisting.

There will also be a silent auction and raffle, as well as a 50/50 draw.

Lane sponsorships are still available for $100, and any silent auction items would be greatly appreciated.

"Let's show this wonderful family just how much Bradford stands behind them during this difficult time," said Hilliard.
