On Tuesday, November 17, 2015 between the time of 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. a house on Gables Way, in the city of Barrie, was reportedly broken into.
Police believe the suspect entered through the rear patio sliding doors.
Various jewellery items, including two rings, were reported taken from the residence.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time and are encouraging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area to please contact the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025 ext. 2754 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, leave an anonymous tip online at www.tipsubmit.com.
Police are also reminding citizens to secure all doors and windows to their house to deter such persons entering both during the day and night.
Also, if you witness anything suspicious in your neighbourhood, please contact police immediately.
