Blue Mountain is expanding into other colours this holiday season with a cutting-edge light display straight out of a dream world.
The Blumination Dream Trail will brighten spirits at Blue Mountain Village from Dec. 1 to Jan. 6 thanks to engineering and technology created by Smash Reality Inc, a Collingwood-based tech company.
The trail is one-kilometre long and includes vignettes of 3D art made of lights.
The Blumination Dream trail winds through the village and includes light shows each evening at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. with fireworks at 8 p.m. on Saturdays.
“It’s an exciting new experience to add to group holiday parties,” said Patti Kendall, director of marketing and events for Blue Mountain Village Association. “And a great addition to your family winter holiday traditions.”
