TORONTO - Congratulations to Karry Gallow of Innisfil for winning $1 million with LOTTO MAX MAXMILLIONS in the Dec. 30, 2016 draw.
“I enjoy playing LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49,” shared Karry while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where she picked up her big cheque. “I usually buy my tickets on the day of the draw.”
Karry has been playing the same combination of numbers for two years. “I checked my numbers the after the draw at OLG.ca. I was scrolling through the winning combinations for the MAXMILLIONS prizes and I was shocked to see my numbers on the screen. I ran upstairs and woke up my husband to share the good news. I said to him, ‘I just won $1 million.’ He immediately sat up and said, ‘What? Are you sure? Did you look at the date? Let me see the ticket.’”
Karry kept her winning ticket in her pocket. “It was close to me at all times until I could finally go to the Prize Centre to pick up my cheque.”
Plans are underway for Karry’s windfall. “First, we are going to be mortgage free. We will be paying off all our bills and taking a vacation to Florida. I have also always wanted to take a trip to Venice and Iceland. Finally, my husband was going to do some renovations this summer but now I think we’re going to hire someone for sure,” concluded Karry.
Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $3 billion in prizes, including 48 jackpot wins and 443 winning MAXMILLIONS tickets from all across the province.
The winning ticket was purchased at K.F.F. on Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
