Are you a master builder when it comes to gingerbread?

A confectionery construction worker?

An architect of adorable treats?

The Rotary Club of Innisfil invites you to enter the inaugural Simcoe County Gingerbread House Competition.

Judging will take place Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library’s Lakeshore Branch, at 967 Innisfil Beach Rd., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., when judges Anne Kell, Sydney Hardie, and Beatriz Muller, award-winning certified master sugar artist and winner of the Food Network’s 2018 Gingerbread House Contest, will pick the best entries in three age categories.

The categories are Kid Bakers between the ages of 6 and 12; Teen Bakers ages 13 to 18; and Adult Hobbyists.

For an entry form, and details of the competition, contact the Innisfil Rotary Club at [email protected].

Deadline for entries is Nov. 15. So bakers, builders and decorators – get ready for the county-wide competition, and start designing the perfect gingerbread house.

The public is invited to come out and view the culinary creations at the lakeshore library branch on Nov. 30.
