Incident at church bazaar leads to charges

On the afternoon of the 31st of October 2015, Barrie Police responded to a disturbance call at a downtown church. 

Trinity Anglican church was holding a bazaar when a 49-year-old female attended the event and began to cause a scene. 

Volunteers at the bazaar requested that the female party leave the bazaar, but the female refused and began to act out. 

In doing so, the female accused [allegedly] pushed an elderly women to the ground causing the victim to sustain minor injuries to her leg, wrist, and a bump to her head. 

Ambulance attended the scene and treated the victim at the scene determining that she did not require any further medical treatment. 

The accused was subsequently arrested and charged with assault, as well as breach of probation.
