Crews battle fire in downtown Collingwood (VIDEO)

Hurontario Street closed between Third and Fourth streets

Fire crews from Collingwood and Clearview Township were fighting a blaze at Sporting Life on Hurontario Street in downtown Collingwood, Monday night.

Collingwood Fire Chief Ross Parr said the fire call came in at 5:54 p.m., Monday, and fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and flames coming from the Sporting Life building, which is adjacent to Lux Vape.

The store is also next to an Esso and Circle K, though Parr said the fire was contained to the Sporting Life store.

The fire was still burning inside the store as of last night.

There were three fire trucks on scene, including one ladder truck. Firefighters were spraying the building from above.

Parr reports there were no injuries.

Sporting Life is a retail store selling outdoor clothing and sportswear.

Hurontario Street between Third and Fourth streets is closed.

Here is a video from the scene of the fire this evening.
