How will Family Day affect city services on Monday and next week?

Curbside garbage and recycling collection will be pushed back one day; Barrie Transit will be on Sunday schedule

With Family Day on Monday, some city services will be shifted. 

There will be no garbage, organics or recycling collection on Family Day in the city. Collection during the week will occur one day later for the remainder of the week. Visit www.barrie.ca/CurbsideCollection for details.

Barrie Transit will operate according to the regular Sunday service schedule. Visit www.barrie.ca/TransitNotices for details.

City hall will be closed and general committee will not meet this week. 

Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on all statutory holidays. Waterfront parking is enforced around the clock. Residents must display their permits and visitors are required to pay $3 per hour, with a daily maximum of $20. Visit www.barrie.ca/Parking for details.
