Springwater and Essa Fire battled a fully involved house fire through the night.
Springwater Fire tweeted that both departments were in 'defensive operation' at the blaze on Sunnidale Rd. between Parr Blvd. and Baldwick Lane.
The occupants escaped the fire which broke out around 11:30 p.m. Thursday but the house is a total loss, according to the fire department.
Three dogs perished in the blaze.
Firefighters will be on scene investigating in the morning but the fire is not considered suspicious.
