Highway 400 closed at Highway 12 following rollover (Update: reopened)

Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advise that 400 Hwy northbound at Highway 12  was re-opened at 6:36 p.m. on Friday.

Highway 400 northbound is closed at Highway 12 near Waubaushene for a tractor-trailer rollover farther up the road.

The closure went into effect at 8 a.m. and is expected to remain in place for six to eight hours, according to Bracebridge OPP.

Detours have been set in the area.

Highway 11 northbound can be used as an alternate route.

On Friday morning, a tractor-trailer rolled over. Material has been spilled onto the highway, but Bracebridge OPP says none of it is hazardous.

Highway 400 is closed so crews can clean up the area.
