On Monday, January 25, 2016 at 4:20 p.m., police were called by a concerned citizen who saw an altercation with three males in a vehicle parked in the lot at 10 Golfdale Road, in the City of Barrie.

The caller was concerned as the altercation seemed quite heated with one of the males bleeding from his head.

It was also believed a gun had fallen to the ground when one male exited the vehicle.

Police located the vehicle with two male occupants on Glenwood Drive moments later leaving the scene and saw as one occupant throw an unknown item out the window.

A high risk take down was executed and the item tossed was located and confirmed to be a replica airsoft handgun.

There was also a large quantity of pills scattered visibly around the interior of the car.

Both male parties in the car were placed under arrest; one transported to the Barrie Police Service and the other to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for a few stitches from his fight injuries.

The Barrie Police Criminal Investigative Division caught up with the third suspect, placing him under arrest and transporting him to the Barrie Police Service for a bail hearing with his co-accused partners.

The car was towed to a secure site for a warrant to be executed in relation to the pills observed and nature of the incident.

A 29-year-old and a 22-year-old Barrie man were charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and a 38-year-old Barrie man was also charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking but had the added charge of Weapons Prohibited for the replica firearm.
