On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2:48 a.m. three Barrie residents, (a 38-year-old female, 34-year-old and a 21-year-old male), committed a robbery with an Imitation Firearm at a Mac's Convenience Store, located at 353 Anne Street North, in the City of Barrie.

The accused thought they hit the jackpot when the clerk was not seen within the store.

The suspects took five minutes to load up cash, cigarettes and lotto tickets while the store clerk saw the one suspect with a gun, locked himself in a room and called 911.

Barrie Police responded as two of the suspects were still gathering items inside.

One suspect was arrested exiting the store and the second fled but after a short foot pursuit, he was captured.

Police recovered the replica firearm and wig the accused discarded in the foot chase.

The third suspect escaped in a nearby get-away car.

Police located the outstanding suspect and vehicle at a nearby apartment building where the suspect was arrested and brought to the Barrie Police Service to join his partners in crime for a bail hearing on Wednesday morning.

Investigators anticipate executing search warrants on the vehicle and apartment on Wednesday, January 27th, 2016.
