ORILLIA – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for a male in relation to the October 9, 2015 robbery at P D Murphy Jewellers in Orillia.
On October 9, 2015 at approximately 1:51 p.m., the Orillia OPP responded to a hold up alarm at P D Murphy Jewellery on Mississaga Street East.
On arrival officers were advised that a lone male had just fled the store with a quantity of rings.
The suspect informed the employee that he had a gun in his backpack but it was not displayed.
No one at the store was injured.
A warrant for Robbery has been issued for Yves GAGNIER, 27 years old, of Sault Ste Marie.
He is described as white, 6’0” tall, 165 lbs, brown hair and hazel eyes.
See attached picture of GAGNIER who [is alleged to be] the driver of the getaway vehicle.
The vehicle is a 2005 Red Honda Element with an Ontario licence number of BXEX 395.
The vehicle was last seen with graphic art covering the entire hood area.
