Innisfil, ON– The Town of Innisfil has partnered with the Cookstown Chamber of Commerce, the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library and local businesses to host two trick-or-treat-themed events. The details are as follows:
Downtown Spooktacular
- Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, Lakeshore Branch, 967 Innisfil Beach Rd.
- Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018
- 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Boonanza
- Cookstown Chamber of Commerce Office, 19 Queen St.
- Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018
- 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Children are invited to trick-or-treat along Innisfil Beach Road or downtown Cookstown, stopping in at participating businesses to pick up goodies.
“These events are a great way for young families to discover the different business offerings found in Alcona and Cookstown,” said Brennan Kenny of Innisfil Economic Development. “By partnering with the Cookstown Chamber of Commerce and our downtown businesses we are building important community relationships to help our local businesses succeed.”
The Lakeshore and Cookstown branches of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library will have numerous Halloween-themed activities for children including ghost stories, songs and the opportunity for visitors to have their pictures taken in front of a green screen. Maps of participating businesses will be available for trick-or-treats at the ideaLAB in Alcona and the Chamber office in Cookstown starting at 11 a.m.
