A Frost Advisory is in effect.

Mix of sun and cloud today, chance of late afternoon showers and the high 11.

Partly cloudy tonight, chance of evening showers then clearing overnight, low 2 with risk of frost.

Sunny Tuesday and a high 14.

Mix of sun and cloud Wednesday with a high 17.

Sunny Thursday and the high 21.

Sunny Friday with a high 22.

Here are the details of Frost Advisory in effect for:

  • Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
  • Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
  • Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago

Patchy frost is likely early this morning as temperatures have fallen to near or just below the zero degree mark.

Temperatures will rebound quickly upwards later this morning as the airmass moderates under the strong mid May sun.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to the reach freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
