Georgian College is hosting a variety of activities across its seven campuses to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Events taking place between Sept. 25 and 29 include flag-raisings, the unveiling of new markers along the Debwewin miinwaa Naaskodaadiwin Miikaans/Truth and Reconciliation Trail at the Orillia campus, orange rock painting, Indigenous regalia displays, a beading workshop, movie screenings, and a lunch and learn focusing on allyship.
Georgian College students and employees are invited to take part, and some of the events are open to the public.
