A brief period of freezing rain is likely this evening. Current indications suggest that the freezing rain will quickly turn to rain in most areas.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
Environment Canada meteorologists will continue to monitor this situation closely. A freezing rain warning may be required.
