BARRIE ROYAL BASKETBALL CLUB

The Barrie Royal Basketball Club is hosting their tryouts for the 2016-2017 and interested athletes are invited to participate!
Tryouts will take place Sept. 17 and 18 at Eastview Secondary School and at Bear Creek Secondary School on Sept. 24 and 25. Athletes are asked to arrive early to register, and to bring proper footwear, water and their love of the game! Cost for tryouts is $20 (total for both tryout dates).
The Barrie Royals rep league is for those who are taking the game of basketball seriously, as it demands practices a minimum of twice per week. The teams play approximately 20-30 games against teams from around the Province.
The registration fee includes three tournaments plus the Provincial championships which is in late March or early April. Boys and girls teams that are high school age (grade 9 – 12) have their tryouts in September but do not typically practice during their high school season.
The Barrie Royals is not-for-profit organization affiliated with Ontario Basketball (OBA), governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
The club is proud to have a highly skilled group of over three dozen NCCP certified coaches that are dedicated to the development of young athletes.
The Barrie Royals Basketball Club was established in 1985 by a dedicated group of teachers, high school coaches and basketball enthusiasts.
