City Council has approved a smaller version of a new Barrie-Simcoe Emergency Services Campus along with a reduced price tag.
After a three-and-a-half hour meeting on Monday night, council unanimously gave the green light to the project minus 'Building B,' the on-site police and fire training facilities.
That brought the proposed $120 million dollar cost of the hub down to $103 million.
The plan is to build the new training facilities later.
The campus will house Barrie Police and Fire Services along with County of Simcoe Paramedics.
It's expected to be completed by 2020.
