ORO-MEDONTE - On Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a vehicle fire northbound on Highway 11 south of line 3 in Oro-Medonte Township.
After the fire was extinguished and the highway was reopened, officers were alerted to a vehicle parked in a live lane south of the accident.
Officers attended and observed [a] male passed out behind the wheel.
Further investigation of the driver of this motor vehicle revealed that he was operating it while under the influence of alcohol.
Charged with Exceed 80 mgs of alcohol is Quy DUONG, age 49 of Scarborough.
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Barrie on November 16.
