DRESS FOR SUCCESS ORILLIA AND BARRIE

Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie has launched a new online 50/50 raffle to benefit their programs and services.
The first draw on Wednesday, Oct. 27 has a guaranteed jackpot of $5,000. Fifty per cent will go to the winner and 50 per cent will go to Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie and the services they provide to local women.
Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie provides assistance to women at critical life transitions of employment or re-employment. Their three cornerstone programs are the Professional Clothing Assistance Program, the Professional Women’s Group, and the Breakfast Club.
Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie works with women who are actively seeking employment, have scheduled job interviews, or have recently acquired a job or placement/co-op.
Getting a job, keeping it, and navigating a new workplace can be extremely difficult for many people. Local women need a community that has their back. In addition to providing each client with free professional attire to secure employment, Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie provides support, community, and opportunities for women to advance in the workplace.
The non-profit also provides women with attire for court appearances.
The first raffle closes at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27, and the draw will be held at 8 p.m. Draws will be held on the last Wednesday of every month. Ticket purchasers must be 18+ and in Ontario at the time of purchase. Ticket bundles range in price from $10 to $100.
Winners will be announced on Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie’s social media and website, orilliaandbarrie.dressforsuccess.org.
