Barrie Police are looking for the public's assistance in identifying a female wanted for theft and escape lawful custody after she left a grocery store with over $700 of food in her cart making no attempts to pay.
On Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 at 4 p.m. a female was observed by Loss Prevention at Loblaws located at 472 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie, leaving the store with a large cart of meat and other grocery items.
The female was advised she was under arrest outside the store but she fled the scene and jumped into black SUV/Crossover type vehicle.
Description:
- Female, white
- Approximately 50-60 years old
- Long dirty blonde hair
- Wearing black coat with fur on hood, grey scarf and jeans
It is believed the driver was also female but no descriptors are available at this time.
