On Thursday, December 24, 2015, police were called to the area of Chippawa Court, Indian Arrow Road and Garrett Crescent, in the city of Barrie, in regards to two suspicious people.
As a result of further investigating and an additional report of two stolen bicycles, officers made an arrest of two Barrie residents, a 38-year-old female and 53-year-old male.
Both parties have extensive criminal records for similar occurrences and were held for bail hearings.
The investigation recovered both bicycles as well as additional property that had been taken from various vehicles in the area in the early hours of the morning on December 24.
Anyone who may have had their vehicle or property entered are asked to contact PC J Dorion by email at [email protected] to make arrangements for the property to be returned to the rightful owners.
