Barrie Police shut down Duckworth Street northbound at about 5 p.m. Friday, after a two-vehicle collision left debris scattered on the road. Nobody was injured, but the investigation and clean up caused a traffic headache for motorists heading toward Highway 400 and Cundles Road. Northbound traffic was temporarily diverted onto Rose Street westbound to St. Vincent Street.

Around the same time, emergency crews were called to Essa Road at Logger's Run for another collision.
