Barrie Colts forward Zach Magwood has inked a three-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators.
The 20-year-old Cambridge native was standout at the team's recent development camp, scoring a hat trick in last Friday's Future Stars Game at Bridgestone Arena.
Magwood, who signed by the team on Tuesday, is coming off a career year with the OHL's Barrie Colts in which he scored 27 goals and added 32 assists.
Magwood was a sixth-round pick of the Colts in 2014.
He was never drafted into the NHL.
