Soldier On supports veterans, serving members to adapt and overcome permanent physical or mental-health injuries

The Barrie Colts took on soldiers from Canadian Forces Base Borden at the Barrie Molson Centre on Tuesday afternoon in a friendly game supporting Soldier On.

Fans can also support Solider On at the Barrie Colts' Nov. 15 game against the North Bay Battalion at the Barrie Molson Centre.

The Soldier On Fund is a program under the umbrella of Support Our Troops, which is managed and operated by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. It supports veterans and serving members to adapt and overcome permanent physical or mental-health injuries through physical activity and sport.

Since 2007, Soldier On has supported more than 3,500 members to acquire sporting or recreational equipment and participate in group structured activities delivered by world-class instructors.
