City plows continue to make their way around Barrie’s secondary streets, Monday night, following a mid-April blast of snow and ice.
Dave Friary, the city’s director of roads, parks and fleets, said at Monday night’s city council meeting that the wet, dense nature of the snow has made it particularly tough for crews.
The city has also asked that people don’t park on Barrie streets, but vehicles won’t be ticketed.
Garbage collection has also been pushed back a day across Barrie, including moving Friday’s pick-up to Saturday.
