Heritage Barrie and the City are asking for feedback from the community on the draft Heritage Strategy. The feedback will help in the development of the strategy’s implementation plan.

The community can provide feedback online, by clicking ‘Heritage Strategy’ here or at one of the following drop in sessions:

  • Oct. 24 - 6:30-8:30 p.m. - City Hall, 70 Collier St.
  • Oct. 25 - 2-4 p.m. - Parkview Centre, 189 Blake St.
  • Oct. 26 - 4:30-6:30 p.m. - Unity Christian High, 25 Burton Ave.

The survey will be open until Nov. 5, 2017.

Heritage Barrie is an advisory committee appointed by Council. The committee works with the community to build awareness of local heritage matters, provide heritage information, and encourage preservation of heritage buildings and landscapes.
