Get a hands-on experience at Georgian College Open House Saturday, November 7 at all seven campuses.
Get a taste of what the Georgian College experience will be like.
Everyone is invited to Be here. Do this, at Georgian’s annual Fall Open House on Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all seven campuses.
Interactive and fun activities are front and centre at this event, giving prospective students a first-hand peek into Georgian’s 125+ programs.
Friends and family are all welcome to attend.
Guidance counsellors and other community members working with young people are also invited.
Visitors can:
- Ask questions about housing options, student services, books, meal plans, co-op, or the application process
- Find out about financial aid, awards and scholarships, campus food options, and more
- Meet faculty, staff and other students
- Learn more about programs that start in January, May and September
- New this year, Georgian is giving away $7,000 in tuition grants. Prospective students could win one of seven $1,000 tuition grants just by attending Open House. One grant will be given away at each of Georgian’s seven campuses. Details will be available on site or at GeorgianCollege.ca/open-house.
Students who choose Georgian gain access to more than 6,200 employer partnerships and have access to more than $2.7 million in bursaries, grants, awards and scholarships.
Academic program presentations will take place every hour starting at 10 a.m. Visitors can learn program specifics, meet faculty and ask questions.
In addition, everyone who RSVPs in advance will be entered in a draw to win a tablet. Registration and contest details are available on the Georgian College website.
Those who can’t attend Open House can book a personalized tour at GeorgianCollege.ca/tours.
The college will also host a Spring Open House on Saturday, April 9, 2016.
