Celebrating summer with a movie under the stars

Watch a movie under the stars in Barrie this summer at Heritage Park and Park Place

Celebrate Barrie brought thousands to the waterfront Saturday, and many kept the fun going into the night, watching a movie under the stars at Centennial Beach.

Viewers brought blankets and chairs and can buy popcorn and pop at the venue, or bring their own from home.

The Barrie Film Festival's Outdoor Film Series opened with Ratatouille and will continue with 11 more free outdoor screenings scheduled this summer. Movies begin at dusk:
