The Barrie Police is seeking public assistance to identify a vehicle involved in a fail to remain.

On Saturday, April 2, 2016 between 8 - 8:15 p.m., the driver of a grey Volvo SUV reversed into a vehicle that had been parked at Red Lobsters restaurant, located at 319 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.

The driver of the vehicle failed to remain on scene.

The parked vehicle sustained extensive damage to the driver’s side door.

Damage is estimated to be in excess of $2,000.

Police have spoken to several witnesses, and the driver is said to be a male in his 70s, and accompanied in by a female passenger in her 30s.

It is believed the Volvo sustained a broken tail light, as pieces of the housing were located at the scene.
