Barrie Police are looking for this man after a number of items were stolen from Access Storage Facility

On Saturday, December 5, 2015 Police attended the Access Storage Facility located at 91 Anne Street South in the City of Barrie in regards to a break and enter that had occurred sometime overnight.

Various units had been entered throughout the different buildings within the compound and appeared to be selected at random.

The unknown suspect quickly gained access into several units by cutting the pad locks.

A pick-up truck parked within the compound had been broken into as well.

It is believed the suspect entered the compound by cutting through the fence which secures the facility.

Forensic Identification Officers attended and located blood on a portion of the barb wire fence that had been cut, as well as several foot print impressions that were located near the vicinity of the units.

Police can confirm that several items were stolen:

  • (2) STIHL chainsaws – Orange and white in colour
  • (1) Husqvarna chainsaw – Red and orange in colour
  • (1) STIHL leaf blower – Orange and black in colour
  • (1) Dumbbells Set

Investigators are asking anyone who observed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to contact police.

The suspect is descried as:

  • Male, medium build
  • Wearing a dark baseball hat, a bandana/cloth concealing his face, black jacket (possibly leather) and grey and white camoflage pants.
