Police have located and arrested the wanted male, Harley Sprague.

He was located at residence on Cumberland Street, in the City of Barrie.

He is facing two counts of break and enter, fail to comply with probation and fail to comply with recognizance.

He will be held in custody and will appear in bail court Monday morning.

Thank you to the residents of Barrie and local media for your assistance.

Earlier release

Barrie Police were called to a residential break and enter on Gunn Street, in the City of Barrie, just after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The suspect was confronted by the home owner and fled the area on foot.

Police attempted to located the suspect, although were met with negative results.

A second break and enter was attempted at a residence on Peel Street, in the City of Barrie.

Witnesses provided police with a description of the suspect, which have led police to believe the suspect is Harley Sprague, and he is responsible for both break and enters.

Harley is wanted on a warrant and police are actively seeking his whereabouts.

Harley Sprague is described as;
    •    Male, white
    •    Thin build
    •    Short red hair and goatee  
    •    Wearing a black t-shirt with "Jamaica" written on the front, grey track pants and blue shoes with white trim.
