The line-up of job seekers snaked around the Liberty North Banquet Hall on Caplan Ave.
Inside, more than 40 employers were set up to meet potential employees and accept resumes.
A Community Job Fair hosted by the City of Barrie and Barrie area Employment Ontario Service providers attracted young and old applicants.
The businesses were hiring for positions from manufacturing and retail to hospitality and health services.
The doors opened at 3 p.m. and the job fair went to 7 p.m.
