The Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka Cycling Team is getting a huge high five for their team spirit, camaraderie and commitment, which led to them raising an incredible $67,272.12 for Gilda's cancer support community!
Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka kicked off its 2nd annual Gilda's week fundraising and education campaign on Monday.
The cancer support facility is offering its sincere thanks to this year’s generous corporate sponsors, which include ScotiaMcLeod, Barrie Ford, Redline Brewhouse and Disciplined Growth Portfolio.
With their support, the team exceed this year’s fundraising goal of $50,000.
"This event wouldn’t be possible without all the family, friends, colleagues and community members who were a big part of helping each and every rider feel they had accomplished something special, while riding to ensure that no one faces cancer alone," said Anne Naumyk of Gilda's Club.
