Big salute to 40 years of serving Barrie

Barrie Police Auxiliary honoured at city hall

Dignitaries, friends, family and fellow officers gathered at city hall Thursday night to celebrate 40 years of service by the Barrie Police Auxiliary Unit.

Mayor Jeff Lehman and Chief Kimberley Greenwood joined many others in the rotunda to pay tribute to the volunteer officers who assist front-line police in keeping the community safe.
