Barrie police ask for help to locate missing woman (update)

The Barrie Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing 36-year-old Barrie woman, Amanda Luck. There is concern for her well-being.

Police are searching for 36-year-old Amanda Luck, who walked away from her home on Sunday, November 15, and hasn't been seen since.

9:07 a.m. update

Barrie Police are now appealing to Amanda Luck to either call them directly or call and have an officer come to her.

Det. Peter Pospisil tells Barrie Today that police have recieved information that suggests Luck may be in Barrie.

They have also received information that indicates she may be communicating with friends.

Police are trying to confirm these reports.

Pospisil says Luck is not in trouble but investigators need to know that she is okay.

Police are asking Luck to call them at 705-725-7025 ext. 2112.

Anyone with information that can help resolve this case is also asked to call police.

The Barrie Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing 36-year-old Barrie woman, Amanda Luck.

Amanda was last seen on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. walking away from her residence at 177 Bayview Drive. 

Police are concerned for her well-being.

Amanda is described as:

  • Light/fair complexion
  • 5'1"
  • 100 lbs, thin build
  • Brown hair and blue eyes.

Clothing:

  • Black house coat with pink polka dots
  • Black leggings
  • Black tank top
  • Black shoes
