A 31-year-old Barrie man is facing charges in connection with a violent attack on his girlfriend.
Police say they were called to a Bayview Drive address on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. for a violent domestic dispute.
A man was arrested at the scene and charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault and forcible confinement.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Police did not release details on the woman's condition.
