Mayor Jeff Lehman commended the local association for its continuing efforts to educate through fun after a music video was played of one Barrie Fire and Emergency Services member singing to the tune of Bryans Adams' hit (Everything I Do) I Do It For You with words being changed to educate on smoke alarm safety.

"We are very proud of our fire and emergency services and love how involved they are with our city and residents," said Lehman. "Whether it's the video we just saw or the weekly summer event of Hot Nights In The City, we are so very lucky to have dedicated and educated men and women in our departments."
