TORONTO - Congratulations to a group of four from Barrie for winning $100,000 in the March 31, 2018 Lotto 6/49 Super Draw. The Lotto 6/49 Super Draw offered 25 guaranteed prize draws of $100,000 in addition to the main jackpot and the guaranteed $1 million prize draw.

“I enjoy playing the lottery with my wife, my daughter and my son-in-law,” shared group leader Charles Clements, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their cheque.

Charles bought their ticket while out doing some errands. “After the draw, I used the Ticket Checker at my regular lottery retailer. I thought the numbers on the screen looked a bit odd, and I thought we won a few hundred dollars,” laughed Charles. “When I validated our ticket with the clerk, I found out we won a lot more than that!”

Charles shared the news with his wife of 63 years when he returned home. “She didn’t believe me. And neither did my daughter when I called her to tell her the good news!”

Charles says this win make life easier. “We’ll probably use some our prize money to go visit family,” he concluded.

The group members are:

Charles Clements of Barrie
Phyllis Clements of Barrie
Cheryl Sarkissian of Barrie
Vahe Sarkissian of Barrie
